ricer pumped my gas
Today going to work, i needed to get some gas (was like less than a quater of a tank) down airport (3 laned road speed limit 45) there's 3 major intersections, schillinger, cody, and hillcrest. there's a bp on cody, and a circle k before hillcrest.
anyway.. it's about 1.5 miles between each intersection. i'm at schillinger, and beside me pulls up an late model prelude, shiny red with a gigantic muffler. He looks at me and goes "wanna go?" and i go "sure, but let's make it interesting." he turns his visor the other way 'i'm listening" i go "well winner to cody first buys the other's gas" he laughs and go "sure, hell if you can beat me, i'll pump it for you" well i asked him what mods, and he told me he put a good deal into the vtec (3 stickers on the car) and the exaust. i told him stock, pure stock, just rebuilding the body. he laughed and went "got a long way to go, sure, when it turns green..." light hit green, i floor it. (i needed the gas) he's got a good jump also (i hit 5k rpm on first and 5.5 on 2nd) his pipe is making some hard sounds, but when we approach cody, i've got a car and a half on him. he follows me into the bp and goes "holy shit, what kind of car is that?" i sho him the hood (really quick, remember, work...) and he goes "well tha's a nice engine" begins to go after the regular grade, when i point at my speedomitor "premium only" so he fills my tank with 14 gallons of premium gas, and put in the gas treatment from stp. i go "nice race" and go on to work. i will say though , those honda preludes are a pretty neat car, and even though he was a ricer (covered in stickers and big tin can thinking he was pushing 220 hp) he was a cool guy, i mean, whomever puts gas in my car is cool with me.

Well.. the late model ones do have 200hp/155tq from the H22.
I like Preludes... first car I owned in Gran Turismo 2 on Playstation.

hehe, I hope to do things like that when I finally pick up a new bmw... I'm lookin at an e34 m5 now... ha, just imagine their surprise when they find out they just raced a de-badged m5
 Those push 315 HP stock...

How do you hide quad exhausts?? Or are those only the newer generation BMW's?
Nice race, man. He is totally chill for actually pumpin your gas, rather than being a ricer and flying off flippin the bird.

yea, but the only really idiot ricer's are the one's that just flip on blinkers and don't even tell you you're racing.. just speed up and pass you. it's cool here though, even the idiot in the neon had the decentcy to shake hands... I guess it's just the one's that are the most unlikely to be decent people are the one's that turn out to be the most acceptiable.

oh, and by the way
i got a 93 infiniti j30 with no mods, stock (removed resister mod after it was not working properly and ended up sucking gas more than giving me a proper boost) i have pics up of me restoring it on a previous post.
