noise comes out from under the hood after turn off engine

Hi there,

Recently I found everytime after I turn off the engine, and wait for about 30 seconds, there will be a big noise come out from under the hood. It seems like a fan, but I don't think I have this problem before. And the "fan" will run for about 1 minute. The only thing I did to my car is replaced the timing belt.

Anyone here can tell me if this is normal or something is wrong?

My car is '96 Honda Accord EX

Thanks.

Sounds to me like the cooling fan. Open the hood and look. If so, that's normal.

Fan...
If your air temperatures are hotter than normal, ok, but if not and nothing else has really changed, you might want to check your radiator's fluid level. Is the temp gauge reading any higher than normal?
