My 2001 A/C leaks into the passenger side floor board and I can assure you that there was never an impact inside my car - as 99% of the time it is me up-front alone (children always ride in the back). Personally, I think it is a problem with Chrysler and they just won't own up to it. I was quoted $800 to fix my A/C because of the dash removal. However, that did not include a cracked heater box.
My mechanic said that he has had over 3 dozen plymouth/dodge/chrysler minivans in with the same problem since the beginning of the summer. That is alot of vehicles - in a small rural town in South Carolina.

Does any of this sound reasonable?
