Angry 1997 Lumina Engine Light

I don't know what to do, my 97 Lumina service engine light constantly goes on and off, however I've noticed that every single time it goes off, just before that happens, whether the A/C is on or not, I feel this gust of hot air come through my vents and the light shuts off. Does anyone know what this means, or should I just go to a mechanic. Please please help. thanks

Re: 1997 Lumina Engine Light

Go grab an Autozone tech when its on and have him/her read the codes its giving you. That'll point you in the right direction...though I haven't a clue why it'll gush hot air unless there's a vaccum leak allowing the HVAC system to switch from whatever its at to heater.
