brake rotors

ok... i have a set of 4 powerstop slotted rotors. after a few more brake changes i'm going to need some new rotors because the slots are getting smaller and smaller because i have to cut the rotors after new brake pad installs. i want some slotted and cross drilled. any stores online that sell these for a not so rediculous price? i'd love AEM big brake kit but not for no $2500.

anyone recommend any rotors? what about kits? AEM? BAER? BREMBO? i'm at school right now and most sites are blocked if they have shopping carts (gay school) so i can't look myself. i want name brand of course. and slotted and cross drilled rotors. calipers, i dont need but if i can get a better set for a lower price thats cool too.

hey ...go to www.groupbuy.com and check out the brembo slotted rotors...i'm about to go that way and I think it's only like 79 for the rotor...i guess the front two would be about 165 with shipping...in that area...remember to get good brake pads to complement the rotors...i'm gonna be going with Hawk HPS...they're about 60 bucks from ...www.nippon.com...low dust for your rims and good stuff like that...:frog:

Just a side note, Ive heard that it is a bad idea to install brand new pads with brand new rotors. Something about having to break one or the other first, otherwise they wont perform well when both brand new. Anyone know if this is true?

You can also check out www.civicsuperstore.com for different brake rotors, but I don't think they have the best prices though. Groupbuycenter would be your best bet.

Dude. Getting the same braking system that a Mclaren F1 has for your civic is like swatting a fly with a sledgehammer. Brembro rotors with good pads are good enough (Rear disks help too if you don't have them). HP Big brake kit can be had for real cheap but they won't help you stop quicker. Maybe last longer tho.
