Top Stuff

You have picked the best of the models but just wondering, you said it was a 92 Vtec model if so the H22a Vtec must of been put in afterwards and just wondering is it mounted sweet. Make sure you get her checked.

And on what to do first. You could mess about with filters and exhausts etc but if you blow some life into her she will be a weapon to be reckoned with. :flash:

I don't think they made a VTEC in '92.
They only started making them in '93.

yes, vtec didn't come in 1992, although it was invented in 92 i think it only came with the NSX and came into the prelude in 93... what you might have is either 130HP SOHC version or the 160HP DOHC SI prelude.

the 4th gen are difficult to come by where i'm at, they go real fast. whatever you get be a proud owner of one of the best cars ever!

Before Saturday

Just go pop your head under the hood and if it has DOHC VTEC on the cam cover shez sweet.
If it does have this on the cover check out the the manufacture date as it may be that it is a late 1992 stamp date but an actual 93 model and your home and hosed.
But if it is an earlier model with a slammed in engine as long as it has H22a stamped on the side and every thing has been put in hunky dory jump in the sucker and drive away with a big smile on your dial. :flash:
