305 tbi to a 350 tbi ?

hey i can get my hands on a 350 tbi that came out of a 89 or 90 chevy pick up, could i just plug its computer into my wiring harness or is the pins different? i can get it for $350 thats complete from tbi to oil pan, he also will give me the wiring harness and computer with it. will it work?

just put the prom from the 350 in your computer

that other computer may or may not work with your harness. trucks dont have VATS. other than that, the engine should bolt and plug right in.

a 1990-92 350tpi prom should work with tbi

ok! but what conserns me is my 5 speed tranny, i have been told that it wont be able to last long behind a 350. is there a kit were i could change it over to a 6 speed?
