tranny filter

Hello all, i just purchased an 04, ex 4cyl and i was goin to install a magnafine filter in the cooler line when i noticed that it appears to already have one. i sits right on top of the tranny in one of the cooler lines. i looked thru the factory service manual and it lists no such item. question is does anyone know if this is what it is. BTW its black and is secured to the tranny with rubber hoses leadin into and out of it.

if it is, yes its a ATF filter.
