Distributor

Check out Probe .com on the maintenace forum for 2nd gen 2.5 you will find a sticky for the $20 distributor fix ts simple takes about twenty minuites and max $30 in parts if you buy new HEI
You replace the defective Ignitor in the distributor with an external HEI and you will never have the problem recur if you buy a rebuilt distibutor they will have the same problem due to a weak heat sensitive resistor in the ignitor .
Good luck
Roger
