Locations?

I was just wondering where all of the LM's are located. I know there's one in Mass and two in Brunei (I'm sure thats spelled wrong). But where are the other two and I guess the prototype?

The Brunei Royal Family has 3 apparently. Remember, there are a total of 6 LMs when you include the prototype.

Re: Locations?

Maybe.....but then again the engine on the McLaren is built to last more that a single climb on Pike's Peak, which is all the Escudo was built for.

Re: Re: Locations?

It would be sort of a good face off dont you agree just for like 2 laps or a strait drag. It would be very interesting!

I hope you mean the escudo pikes peak special. the regular escudo is the same car as the grand vitara, fyi.

the simple answer is no. the escudo pp is built for racing at pikes peak, 4000 meters above sea level (approx. 12000ft), where the air density is much lower than at sea level. at sea level, the enormous drag created by the oversized wings would make it hopelessly slow in a straight line, even with the claimed 950bhp. as opposed to what some people (i.e. idiots) think, wings and spoilers do not make the car faster. one other thing is thet the gearbox of the escudo pp is custom built, and has a low final drive ratio which probably can't be altered much without the complete gearbox being redesigned.

I agree....the Escudo PP could beat the McLaren only at what it was built for.....Pikes Peak. The McLaren is far civilized to play in the mud anyway.

Re: Re: Locations?

Yea but the dynamics of the little ba$tard are crazy 950 hp and weighs less then the Mclaren! Any gear box can be altered!

Notice all the aero parts on it. I think it might be able to.

It's a purpose built mountain climber - just because you can change the gear ratios in GranTurismo and make some capable race car out of it ( ) does not mean that making the same modifications in the real world would net you similar results. The car would not perform like you think it would and being that its a tube framed race chassis, you wouldn't really want to drive it anyway. Cars are more than just numbers my friend...

And did you read what drPhibes wrote?

Re: Locations?

drPhibes ~ I NEVER SAID IT MAKES IT GO FASTER!! Where the hell did you get "makes it go faster"?? please STFU! Im taking about road holding dont kno what you are talking about maybe you dont think we need spoilers right?? So I supposed the german touring series (dtm) dosent have any nor does le mans prototypes right? Wait.... lets not forget my sig the f1 car the most unparalleld land vehicle on earth I guess that dosent use a spoiler either right and we dont need diffusers either. So I guess the incidents in the pasts years with 2 of my favorite cars dont count for aerodynamics faliures correct the clk-lm that flipped and of course the porsche GT1 in le man! I guess they just magically flipped. right???

http://www.vehiclecraft.com/petitporsche.mpeg ~ this could have anything to do with aerodynamics right!

Regulations required a flat bottom of the car, it was because of this the CLR (not the CLK-LM) flipped. There was nothing they could do.

It has a lot to do with other things as well. Speed for one. Look at nascar. A lot of cars get airborne in nascar simply because of a unplanable situation ie crashing. They were designed to stay on the ground going forwards, as soon as that airflow is changed, you've got problems. Not even the biggest wing in the world could keep them on the ground.
