i'm not really sure i understand your questio... do you want to import to Australia?? If so then i don't think its possible anymore due to new laws that were passed by the government a while ago. If you were living in Australia you would've noticed that all the import businesses have closed down and none have survived after these new laws...... hell I can get a mint condition R33 GTR here for around $11000 aussie but now due to the new laws I couldn't import it back home to Sydney with me.

It is possible to get one car imported for personal use, but thats tricky as you have to show proof of ownership and personal use of the car overseas for at least 12 months. Also I think theres like a law that you can't sell it for at least 6 months or something like that after you improt it. Sorry i couldn't help more, all i know is its almost impossible to import any car to Australia now due to these new laws.

import it for sure!! you can import a r32 gtr to australia from japan for the price u would pay for a gtst here, i'm getting a gtr in august and paid 17 grand. u can get fairly modified gtst's for less than 10g which would cost upwards of 20 grand here. this is the place i got mine from, couple of mates have already got cars through them and were very happy, the sites www.prestigemotorsport.com

Re: importing to AUSTRALIA.

how old r u? u'll get an awesome one for that price, there was a gtst with an an rb26 in it for less than that. yeh they're reliable i know a few ppl who have imported cars through them, including myself, theres a grand service fee which is included in the price and is easily worth it, umm there will be a couple of little things u need to change, like rear view mirror, child restraint etc. very reliable and helpful

stylin32, prestioge motorsports is only a delivery service. they don't get your car on the roads for you and they don't help you with compliance. ALso, their prices are not that great, they're good but not that amazing. Here in the Emirates you can get a GTi-R for around $4-6000 Aussie and an R32 GTR for around $10-12000. but thats without shipping costs and sorry but i don't know how much shipping is.

Check your dads mates car, if its in good condition then buy it, at least you can be sure its from a trusted friend.

yeh they are a broker, they find the car and handle all the shipping, there is no cost for compliance because there is no compliance for cars over 15 years old. my gtr cost $10000 in near perfect condition, the reason why they're prices may seem high to u is because they include everything in the cost, shipping, buyers fee, car cost, the only thing which isn't included in the cost is rego and insurance, because the price can vary so much. but hey if u want to import one from emirates, then good luck with that.

oh mate don't get it, seriously for the effort and hassle its not worth it, u could proly do it urself but its stupid, u have to change the ratios of the diff, and its not good. the box itself is above 500 and then if ur getting someone else to fit it then it could easy be more than that. u could get an awesome manual one for 11g.
