Angry Ahh!! NO TAIL LIGHTS

AHH!!!

The other day when driving home from work at nite, all my inside lights (gauages, controls) just stoppped working. Kinda hard to drive at nite with no gauage lites. When I got home, I then realized that my parking lights didnt work. I then check around back, and I HAVE NO TAIL LIGHTS!!! I'm surprised I wasnt pulled over coming home. Brakes work fine, but no contant tail lights. I check the fuse in the engine compartment, the blue one (15a?), and it was blown. I replaced it, turned on the lights, and it sparked and blew again. I have a short somewhere, but I dont know where! How can I solve this problem? Anyone had this prob? P.S. All the other fuses are fine.

I need this fixed by saturday or I cant go paintballing at nite!! Grrr..

Re: Ahh!! NO TAIL LIGHTS

Yeah I did. That same day they went out I installed the stereo. I hardwired everything b.c. I dont have a harness for it. If I dissconnect the stereo will it work right then? I'll have to give it a try tommorrow.

The paintballing is not in my car. Friend has hook up at local paint club thing. It's all good.

Re: Ahh!! NO TAIL LIGHTS

Im not. Its an actual place to paintball. No drivebys or anything.

Trying the removal of stereo tonite. Will post update here then. That kinda sucks being without a radio again. Oh well. I guess tail lights are more important.

Re: Ahh!! NO TAIL LIGHTS

Removed stereo, changed fuse, and everything works fine now. Getting stereo professionally installed later.

Re: Ahh!! NO TAIL LIGHTS

all you are doing is grounding something out somewhere. don't pay sor an install if you already did it. just make sure your wires are all nice and sealed up with electrical tape...
