Re: 6th Gen Prelude?

Honda is not going to make any more prelude. Love the one you have and take care of it because there will be no other car like it.

Re: 6th Gen Prelude?

They have a new Prelude. It's called the Acura RSX.

Re: 6th Gen Prelude?

It's a replacement for the void left by the Prelude. It's a naturally aspirated luxury sports coupe with similar horsepower.

Re: 6th Gen Prelude?

everyone seems to be split between the accord coupe and the rsx as the prelude replacement. in reality, the prelude was never replaced at all, it was just killed altogether. the rsx did replace the integra, although like aces said, it helped to fill the void the prelude left by just taking potential prelude buyers. but i wouldn't consider it the replacement for the prelude. more like the winner of a sales battle that honda put itself into by offering two affordable sports coupes like the integra/rsx and prelude. one had to falter and obviously we all knew who that was.

if you want my opinion, i think the rsx SHOULD carry a honda badge and SHOULD be called the 6th gen prelude and kill the rsx/integra as an acura altogether. don't kill the car itself, just rename it the honda prelude. i think the acura rsx is contributing to the fact that acura has never been a big player in the luxury car segment. jus my opinion.
