Non Power Attenna Help

When I bought My Accord 91 LX Sedan from a co-worker, It had the factory tape player in it. The Radio Worked Until I Came to a hard stop and it flew out onto the floor, where I found out that it was only hanging in there with some tape and cut wires. Well recently i got a new aftermarket CD Player and It's hooked up, but know I'm not getting any reception from my radio.The guy that hooked up my CD Player said that my attenna wasn't hooked up. The Attenna isn't a power one, How do I Hook It Up? I also recently went through a car wash prior to the install, The Antenna doesn't seem damage, but could that have been a problem?
