Question 6.2 diesel to 5.7 tbi swap

i have a 1982 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 that had a 6.2 diesel with a cracked block in it. so i'm swaping it for a 350 tbi. i have the 350 comp. and a painless wiring harness. i'm not going to hook the emissions up on this thing and run no O2 sensors, just the "fake" ones. what are your thoughts on this project and any advice is welcome thanks
Travis
