And the story
Blue95Accord’s Day From Hell This was a long day, so I will try and keep it to the main points and not vent off! I will give you the backdrop. After 4 years of modding my car and working countless hours, I was finally able to afford rims. I am not one of those people who get knock off rims, or fakes. After many years, and more recently weeks, I decided on a good, quality wheel. ( So I have heard) Before, you assume anything, I am in no way racist, etc. I am just going on my my own personal experiences. I bought my rims off of www.autoglitz.com. I heard good things about them from other people on various boards, and they had the best prices. I left my house around 9:15am, b/c it takes 1.5 hours to get there. I finally arrive, more anxious than ever. Anyone who has dealt with rim shops, and/or car shops in general knows that decent customer service is rare. This shop happened to be in Miami. Over the years, I have noticed that people of hispanic decent are more willing to help people who have just walked into their place, instead of those who have been waiting. This was to be expected b/c I was a miniority there. (I am white lol) After about 15 minutes of some counter guy giving me the breeze, he finally tells me to pull around back. Another 20 minutes passes by, as they are working on other cars. I finally get on the lift, and I think it should not be too much longer. The owner, Manny, who I had talked to on the phone a day earlier, comes over and introduces himself to me. He wants to show me my rims, Racing Hart 17x7 M5’s 1pc, to make sure those are mine, and everything is fine. They look awesome as I already knew, so they said ok, we are just waiting on the tires. I am thinking, “ok.....” About 5 minutes later, a van pulls up, and here are my tires. They begin mounting them on the rim, and everything seems to be in order. After they mounted all 4, and high speed balanced them, they begin to put them on my car. Now is where hell starts. They fit fine, 4 lug universal, and they begin putting on the locks, and center cap. After putting on 4 on, they notice the caps arent flush on the rim. They say this happens a lot, b/c Racing Hart never includes the right size lugs/locks. They send some kid who works there to go to Discount to get new one’s. By this time, I have been there for 3 hours, and beginning to get pissed. After 20 minutes passes, he finally comes back w/new lugs and locks. They try again, but still the same problem. Now, I am getting worried. The co-owner comes over and tells me they have fixed the problem, so I say fine. Another hour goes by, and I ask how much longer. I am told 10 minutes. Another hour goes, by and now I feel like telling them to put my old rims back on. I have already moved my car in and out of the shop 3 times, b/c other people’s car were done. Well, a total of 7 hours there, and they begin shaving the locks down. To prevent this from becoming a term paper, I will skip some of the BS! Now it is almost time for closing, and we all wanna go home. They give me 2 options. They can put the locks on that make the center cap not flush on now, and tighten them, and they will send me a correct set on monday via mail. Or they can take off the RH’s and put on my old one’s. I decline the #2, b/c I have already made my car filthy by wrapping my old rims/tires in plastic, and forcing boxes in my car to ship them on Monday. I would not have been so pissed if they had kept me up to date on every little detail. The most important part of running any kind of business is to keep the customer happy. All in all, I expected some of this, but nothing like today. Oh yeah, did I mention when he had me move my car the 2nd time, the idiot kid didnt move the center caps and I ran over them, and scratched them up? I am glad today is over!

dang...sorry about your luck man. i know cause i had the same incidents occur when i went to get my tires mounted.....apparently in my area...18 inch mounting is not the thing! only 17's and smaller stuff.
its a shame. i had to drive 20 miles over to the next biggest city to get it done.

In case maybe you guys didnt know, this is a common problem w/the Eibach Pro Kit's. The front fender is bigger than the rear, so the rear is going to appear lower. I wish I would have known that before I got them. Ah well, maybe on my next car in a few years.
