How bumpy is the ride with 18" wheels.

Is there a huge difference between stock wheels, 17” wheels and 18” wheels on a Civic EX? Tell me about you experience with these wheels an the actual road. Thx

i don't know from experience.. yet but i do know that if you get low pro tires.. 30 - 40 series tires... there will be that much less rubber than you have now on stock. so its going to be noticable i'm sure.

The ride is definitley going to be rougher because of less rubber regardless whether or not your lowered.

Because just as you said, they weigh 22 lbs + tires. Not only do they wiegh more than stock but the wider tires will cause more friction. More power is needed to turn the wheels so you lose gas mileage because of it.

Yea those rims weigh 22lbs compared to a 15 or so lb stock rim. The lo profile tire also will be wider(205) compared to the stock (185 or 195). So that's a good reason why u will lose gas mileage.

ok i have a hatchack with eibach sportlines and tokico blues
with 17 in rims with 205 40 17s with a 45mm offset
the ride sucked
it killed my acceration
and breaking was highly affected too
and i rubbed after shaving the rear fenders
i hated it but it looked pretty damn cool ya know
i just got some 15 in wheels (fake spoons)
the ride is so much nicer
and acceration is back to normal
and the car looks just as nice (just a difernt look)

if i was you id either get 18s or 15
if your thinking f*ck it i want big wheels
then get the 18s you loose so much comfort and performance with the 17s mine as well go for the glory

15 are mad cheap too
i paid like 750 for 15s with khumo rubber
