help needed for mercedes 300d desiel turbo

ok my parents got me a 300D turbo 2.5 liter desiel for christmas in exelent shape. 240 thousand miles or so on it havent checked in last day or 2. my problem is there are all these cars at my school that like kick ass performance wise. i take my benz on sharp turns at high speeds and it does good, (very good i may add) i tried to race some pussy honda and it about kicked my ass . obviously i need some work on it. there is a turbo delay, acceration aint bad at all after 2500 rpm and the turbo kit goes "oh ya im supposed to work now" and it gets the hell up and goes good, but the delay is good enough to let me loose, also there is automatic transmission in it can get boring. i need to put a manual transmission, blowoff vent, and figure out some way to get the turbo delay 100% gone. is there anyway turbo delay can go away? or can i buy something to replace my current turbo. any ideas?

You have mis under stood the engineering goals associated with the construction of your MB car.
These superbly built machines were ment to be put out on the autobaugn and cruise all day at high speed, while handling and riding better and smoother than any car made (other than a Rolls Royce) and at the same time providing you with great fuel milage because the price of gas in Germany is about $4.50 per gallon.
keep in mind while u are hauling ass at high speed on the freeway in your MB with the windows rolled up and the AC on you are riding in one of the most quietest and comfortable interiors on the highway this defines what a "Mercedes Benz" is, it screams CAR to those who come near it.
Properly maintained as is, you would be able to give this car to your grandchild and it would run and drive and cruise for them the same as it does for you today. These motors will go 1,000,000 miles. before needing a majior overhaul.
And you can enjoy the days that you tow your buddys honda, toyotas, and other jap junk cars to the crusher .

But if peer pressure over comes your joy of being king of the highway cruisers, you can put a helium injection kit on it, kinda like nos for a gas motor.
Remember most chicks like to cruise comfortable in nice cars, and not be jerked around while sitting on a hard seat in something that has to be repaired all of the time.
