Race Card #91-That thing looks downright purty now ya'll.

Race Card #91-That thing looks downright purty now ya'll.

When I first saw the photos the film company sent me of Tom Cruise's car for his up coming movie I thought, "What were you guys thinkin'?!? And GREEN no less!"

I thought it was one of the ugliest paint jobs I had ever seen on a stock car but it began to grow on me. The fact that I got to met Tom Cruise, Robert Duval, Waylon Jennings and June Carter Cash because of it made it look some better. But by the time I had built and got paid for three radio control versions of it for Tom and Rick Hendricks and his son I began to think it was downright lovely.

Here's my 1/25 version of my 1/10 version of Tom's 1/1 version of his DOT stocker.

I never thought I'd see this car. You did an excellent job. Have any more pictures under the hood and whatnot?

I've got more pics but I build curbside so there isn't any engine detail. My rule of thumb is "If it don't SHOW then it don't GO."
