i took it to autozone to scan the code they told me #5 cyclinder missed fire. i have change the injector, the plugs, and the wires. still a missed fire on on #5. iI did the compression check and it check out good. i also took a noid light to the injector connector and plug into #5 injector and i get nothing. I suspect that one of the sensors is bad or the pcm. if any one know the fix please help. thank you. how can you check if the intake is leaking?

Have you tried the cap and rotor yet? Possibility of intake gasket leaking? These parts on the 96+ trucks are notorious for going out. Check out my other post on this subject. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=267196 -Chris

Check for continuity between the black/white wire at the injector harness to port 15 of the red PCM harness connector. the pink wire should have 12V anytime the key is on
