Tilting car for oil change.

I have a question do you tilt your car forward or backward for all the oil to leak out. Or does it just leak out the best when its on flat ground. I want to know cause my garage is packed right now i need to change my oil and i was going to do it on my tilted driveway its not that much but i would either park it tilted up or down wondering what would be better.

yeah but what way do you tilt it forward or back? cause on my friends supra his drain runs forward so he has to tilt it forward it always comes out easier he said. But with an eclipse it runs back so i guess you tilt it backward so i was wondering and asking the question forward or back?

Re: Tilting car for oil change.

The plug is on the back of the pan, so you lift it from the front. You would anyway, not sure if anyone changes oil from the back......
