trunk and hood latches

is it just me or does this gen civic have the worst hood and trunk latches? the hood and or the trunk never close properly. I've owned three and keep having the same problem.

Sometimes I am in the worst mood while working on my car, then when I have to rush somewhere and close it, it drops but doesnt fully hook... pissed off, I raise it higher and drop it again and it only bounces.... ugh! only sometimes though

I always have to use a flathead to push the spring over in order for it to close, unless i slam the shit out of it. what a pain in the ass.

you should take it to the dealership you got the car and make em fix it for free.(if you got it brand new)
