help me please need asap real fast
heres how it went down my clutch started to slip in my 86 gt and i ordered a new clutch so i go to put it in and everything is fine but when i reinstall the slave it is not working now i never undid the line just hung it out the way what is wrong please help

Sounds like you may have air in the lines....it's possible that when you moved the cylinder, it might have leaked somewhere. Even if it didn't leak before, you have to remember it is old and the fittings and flexible hose are not as strong as they would have been 15 years ago. Try bleeding it out, and pay special attention to the fluid level in the reservoir for a week or two...if you have a leak that you can't see, the fluid level will still go down slowly.

No offense, as you've probably thought of this already, but make sure the clutch slave cylinder throw rod, clutch fork, and throwout bearing are properly installed. Aside from that, yea... air probably slipped into the line somehow.
