VW Golf III (re-work) Progress

Got a very sloppy body shell from a friend today.
Wash off the old paint (painted blue b4). Applied surfacer paint, then a few layers of AUTOCOLOR Super Red.

Now wait for a bit, then apply clear coat...

Paintjob is good!
You are going to keep it factory stock?

Not yet decided, but won't be too wild. Perhaps lower it, nice wheels, etc...

Looking good. Great shine.
I always wanted to get this kit, but always left the store with another one.

Tks!
BTW, is the Cefiro kit popular in your area? I 've never seen this kit.
Does it have any engine details?

Re: VW Golf III (re-work) Progress

good work on the paintjob, awsome shine...
it looks quite agressive with the bbs but i would go with a set of silver rims, just to have a little contrast to the body

Re: VW Golf III (re-work) Progress

Hey , what kind of tape is that that you used to mask off the body, cuz wutever tape i used sometimes it takes the paint off, i think my tape is too strong.
