Please Help!!!

Just a few days ago my battery light came on. It still starts good and everything until today when my abs light comes on after like 3 minutes of running and the radio lost power a couple of times.

I have a brand new battery. Got it like 2 months ago its a duralast heavy duty battery. I had to replace it because my old battery would have a charge but couldn't even turn the car over. (I could turn on the headlights.)

Is the battery crapping out again???
If it is the battery crapping out again what would be causing this???

Re: Please Help!!!

Have your charging system analized. Most auto parts stores can do this for free. You may have a bad alt. or a bad conection somwhere.

well I'm sure its not the alternator. Last time my car didn't start we got the alternator and starter tested at autozone.

And with the old battery we were able to turn on the lights and radio . However, when you tried to start the car the engine wouldn't even turn over and the starter was just barely spining.(it sounded like it was spinning at like 1 rotaions/second)

Re: Please Help!!!

My bets on the alternator, symptoms are very typical.

Re: Please Help!!!

would it take this long for the battery to drain???

Its been a little over 2 months.

And autozone said the alternator was perfectly good when I tested it 2 months ago.

Are you running an amp with sub-woofers & no capacitor? Also check the battery groung cables to the chasis & make sure the're clean & tight.
