Spray gun tips
Greetings,
Just looking for some general tips regarding usage of a spray gun for painting, as I've never actually attempted using one yet. Some specific questions I had in mind: 1. What PSI should the compressor be set at? 2. There's two valves on the gun, which I'm assuming are for adjusting paint/air ratio... how should these be set? 3. We have an auto moisture remover/tool oiler/pressure adjusting valve connected to the compressor right now... Should this be removed while painting to avoid compressor oil being mixed into the stream? 4. Can you use regular thinner to clean the gun out after use, and do you just pour some into the gun and spray for a few seconds to clean it out? That's all I can think of for now... Thanks in advace for any help! ~Brandon |

Re: Spray gun tips
1. Read the manual, between 35 and 50PSI at 6-9CFM
2. Elliptical paint pattern. 3. Keep the moisture trap near the gun 4. Yes regular thinner will normally work, disassemble the whole fun for cleaning.
