which car would win a celica or a wrx

which car would win in a race a slightly modified celica or the wrx? Which car has the best overall value?

WRX!!!! they dont even compare!!!! new celica gts is a good matchup for my 2.5ts impreza, but no way will it ever keep up with a wrx!

lets see, the celica has pretty much no torque at all (130), the wrx has AWD which is an advantage off the line, has about the same torque as hp(227), but weighs more than the celica. I would definately say the wrx would beat the slightly modified celica, unless the driver of the wrx passed out.

the celica is a underpowered car. but if you turbo or supercharge the car, it would be a close comparision against the wrx.
but like mentioned earlier the 4wd is a better advantage than a FF car at acceleration.

a good comparison against the wrx is probably.......maybe the s2000. i dont know, no car pops up into my head right now that has around 225 hp

slightly modified would mean no turbo on the celica, so I'm going with WRX. But I agree, if the celica had turbo, I'd say pretty close.

well weve all assumed the type of racing were talking about is drag racing, but what about other types of racing? even a turbo celica wouldnt hang with a wrx around a road course, and forget about rally. so i say the wrx is the better all around car
