95 Neon engine surges at 50 mph
My daughters Neon surges at around 50 mph, or when rev'd to about the same rpm when sitting in the driveway. It runs nearly perfect until the rev's are high enough and then begins to cut-out, almost like someone was rapidly pumping the accelerator.
I've replaced various items at the suggestion of others, including: Throttle position sensor Crank sensor MAP sensor plugs wires coil pack Any thoughts? Thanks, Roger |

Re: 95 Neon engine surges at 50 mph
Hey Rodger, I have the same problem, but my neon is a 96 neon, and when it starts to pull back and forth my speedometer start to move crazy. It moves from 50 to 100 and to 20 and 80 its crazy. I did change the same thing you did but didnt work, we should take ol yeller's advice.
