I just got exhaust for my 1992 eclipse. My exhaust is stock except for a new muffler. From the cat-converter on back is stock piping and consists of two separate resonators. My exhaust is pretty loud as is. I know that taking out the resonators will make the exhaust louder but I dont know what the change will sound like. Im looking for louder exhaust but I like the exhaust tone I have. Will taking out the resonators make my exhaust sound better or worse? Or is it better if I leave the resonators on?

do you have resonators, or cherry bombs, or glass packs, there pretty much all alike i belive. I know GP's and CB's give you a raspy sound, i think resonators give you a lower rumble. A high-flow muffler gives you a nice smoother tone.
