estimate hp

about how much horse power do you think ill have after doing the following on my 96 4.6 sohc

U/D pullies
TB and Upper intake manifold (C&L, accufab, what do you recommend?)
PI head swap<-- expects most of the power to come from there
exhaust- im thinking true duals or 2.25's to a 3" then split to 2.5's
SCT chip

my goal is high 13's, and i thnk that w/ a J-moded Aod-e, torque converter, and a coupple of other drive train mods, i can get there.

im hoping that i can get 250 rwhp from the mods i listed....

what do you think

BTW, i drive a cougar, it weights about 2 tons w/ driver

Re: estimate hp

Your exhaust is going to hurt you. A 96 V8 already has a true duel exhaust in 2.25" diameter. If anything I would increase it to no more then 2.5" in diameter, and not mismatch sizes.

i have a cougar- no dual exhaust. i was thinking 2.25 into one slighly more restrictive 3" pipe, for simplisity, then 2.5" for sound...

Re: estimate hp

The 95 V8 has dual to single to dual again.

It is single only through the resonator.

I'll look under mine tomorrow and tell for sure.

Re: Re: Re: estimate hp

Even so, I would not go with different size pipes like that all in the same flow path.
