Washed engine now trouble codes.
Engine was cool.
Covered Alt and K&N Air filter Sprayed engine off with water. Sprayed Simple green all over engine bay. Sprayed engine bay off again. Wiped off all water that I could. Drove the truck about 30 miles to a friends house and not a problem. Truck sat for two hours Started engine and engine light was on. Pinged really bad when I push down on the trottle. Was getting TPS P123 / P122 and P108. I cleared the codes 4 times and they went away. Would these sensor fail from the water? Did I do any permament damage? These trucks are that sentive to water in the engine bay? |

Year.
2000 C3500 5.7
No more engine codes but now the vehicle wants to idle between 1500 and 2000 rpm even when really hot. I removed the idle screw so that is not the problem. The computer keeps adjusting the idle. What is the world is it doing? |
