5.0 blower on a 4.6?
I have a 2000 mustang and i was looking at some used superchargers on ebay, and theres quite a few cheap blowers on there (800-900 ish). The only problem is that the cheap ones are for 5.0 mustangs. Has anyone put a centrifical 5.0 supercharger on a 4.6? I figure that a roots variety wouldnt work, but a centrifical is virtually entirely parasitic from what I know about them, and the only part i figure would be tricky would be fixing the belt to the turbine, but otherwise it would just be changing the piping and the tuning. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

These Ebay cheapies wouldn't happen to be used, would they?

yea i assume their used. I wasnt completely serious about buying them, but it seems a 5.0 supercharger is generally gonna be cheaper then a 4.6 one, so I was wondering how feasible it would be to make it work.

For starters the brackets don't bolt up at all, and the head units for Modular motors are reverse rotation, so you can't even use the head units from the 5.0 kits. Look at a 5.0 Vortech S-trim kit, notice how the blower inlet is facing the rear of the car? Then go look on a Mod Motor vortech kit, the inlet is facing the front of the car.
