Take them to court and when that was all over with I'd wait about 6 months and then burn the shop down at night. It's things like this that are the reason I'd never take my car and leave it somewhere to get work done. And if I did I'd make sure I got EVERYTHING in writing before I dropped my car off so there was no denying any claims for court.

That is really fucked up. I hope they go out of business. ASSHOLES!
You would want to clean out the "EbaY" rack first before you burn it down though and get your parts back. hehe.
I am in Arkansas, but if I did live there, then there is no way in hell I would let them work on shit of mine!

Damn, that sucks. The only legal option would be to sue. Illegal options? Well, there's plenty of those. CivicSpoon is right though, people should get things in writing before the work is done so that if there are any problems, documentation is at hand which tips the case heavily in your favor. Hopefully everything works out for that guy.

Do one of those threads that make you look like a complete idiot. People love to ridicule other people. Remember the one where the guy said he drilled a hole in his gas tank to inject nitrous? lol....

I remember that. Had to be one of the stupidest things I ever read. Was a real good laugh though.

Anyways, I saw that thread on 1320stangs several days ago, darn it's gotten bigger. That poor guy Dave got screwed. I hope he gets his refund and his old parts/block back. A lot of their bussiness is apperently mail order, so I suspect this whole ordeal is hurting bussiness quiet a bit (I imagine it would some conisdering it's all over the internet now, what AMP did to him). You just don't treat customers like that. Any bussiness that acts that way doesn't deserve to be in bussiness.

I agree, he should take them to court. That's what I would do. I'd hire an Attorney and file a lawsuit. It'd be rather hard to find a judge and 12 jury members who would rule against him.
