Hello All,
I've had my 96 sentra for over a year and everything has been fine, but last night I went to start it and it wouldn't even turn over. There was no clicking sound, so I don't think it's the starter. We checked all the fuses and they seem fine. The battery isn't dead because the car is getting power for all the accessories. After a little while of checking things out we tried again and it started no problem. This morning it started twice in a row, but now it doesn't again. Could it be a loose connection to the battery? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Kat |

Re: 96 nissan sentra
i suppose it could be a bad connection. although my battery was half dead and didnt have enough juice to start the car, but it had enough to run all the accessories.. dunno, im sure someone on here can you help you out though..

Re: 96 nissan sentra
sounds like a starter. if it starts everyonce in a while then thats my guess. if it doesnt start the next time have someone tap the starter with a hammer many times it will ingage the mendix arm. if its starts from this then start looking for a new starter. if i was a bettin man, and i am, thats what i think it is. ive ran accross this issue alot with many vehicles so good luck
