For Sale: 1997 Trans Am convertible WS6 (ram air package) 6 speed. Only 273 Trans Am convertibles had 6 speeds for 1997, making this car somewhat rare to start. This car also has the factory WS6 performance package, optional chrome wheels and the trunk mounted twelve disk CD changer making it even more rare for 1997. The car is bright red with the black top and charcoal interior.
The car was originally driven by a Pontiac zone rep for its first 4000 miles until I became the cars only owner in April of 1998. The car has been meticulously maintained, garaged, adult driven and has only 43,400 miles. The car has never been wrecked, repainted, smoked in or had any major repairs whatsoever. I carried a 6 year warranty for service.
The car has been serviced better than the book calls for. (frequent oil changes with synthetic oil, and other fluid changes). The car has tires Firestone Firehawk tires that are less than half worn as well as new brakes and rotors all the way around. The only non-stock item is the K&N air Filter and the skip shift defeat harness.
The car has all the typical Trans Am options, 5.7L LT1 V8 305HP, leather, full power, black cloth top. Everything on the car works like new. Considering the rarity of the car, the low miles, one owner status and the overall condition this car will be a good collector car.
For a 1997 Trans Am, the car is in pristine condition. Make sure not to forget that the WS6 package was a $3000 option and the convertible added another $4000. The original sticker price for this car was $33,383. I have a copy of the original window sticker. I am offering this car to the F-body enthusiasts for $16,750. I have all documentation.
