A question about converting specs..
I'm stationed in Germany(I am in the military).
I bought this 1987 Nissan Sunny(Sentra) and I was thinking of taking it with me to the US. That is if I get stationed in the US. I was just wondering how much it would cost to convert it from German Spec to US Spec and are there any websites about what all needs to be done to it for it to be converted to US Spec. |

Im also stationed in Germany and i have been looking at changing my bmw over but when i emailed importers they told me the car was not worth converting. It would cost 3500 just for the epa test alone plus it needs a catalyic converter which runs around 2500 so i was looking at between 8000 and 10000 to convert a 1993 5 series.if you still want to look into it hear are some importers email adresses they are in maryland and coneticut. [email protected] [email protected] i hope this helps you.
