1996 Accent - low rpm hesitation
As I shift gears (5 speed) the car will hesitate/buck as I accelerate until RPM's reach a certain point. At highway speed (high rpm) the car runs fine. I'm not sure if the problem is fuel or spark. It seems to occur more after the car warms up. Any ideas?
This past year I have replaced: Fuel filter (more than once) Idle air control valve Crankshaft Position Sensor Ignition coil Plugs and wires Alternator Starter |

Nope, problem still exists although it hasn't gotten any worse. Would dirty fuel injectors cause this problem?
I have NGK plugs right now. It's actually been over a year and I'm going to change plugs, wires and fuel filter again just for good measure. |

Re: 1996 Accent - low rpm hesitation
I'm going to try a compression test this weekend. Maybe that will tell me something. I had a guy look at my plugs and he said they looked OK maybe a little lean.

Problem fixed
Check engine light finally came on and I read the code. Cylinder 2 misfire. New plugs and wires fixed the problem.
