need help on removing old studs from head to put them on my new head...honda dealer want to charge 6 bucks a piece..kinda a whole in the pocket there...wondering anybody has any ideas or done this before on removing the studs for exhaust and intake outof the block.......

They make a tool for it, called a stud remover. I know a craftsman one runs for around 30 bucks. You could try putting two nuts on it, tightening them together and then take it off by turning the one closest to the head. Sometimes that works, sometimes not. Spray it with some PB Blaster to help loosen them first, maby even let it sit for a day or so after spraying it real good a few times.
