with a few mods, some of the N/A 3/S's can get down into the low 14s in the 1/4, if your a decent driver, you can get low 15s stock. If you just add like an intake and test pipe, you can get high 14s

Yes, the looks of a 3000gt are always worth it. Expect compliments from many people and it will turn heads. I owned a 99 3000gt sl for a year before just recently switching to a 98 vr4. I loved my sl and it is a fast car. I mostly raced my friend's 2001 Grand Am Gt Ram Air with a few mods on his. I never lost and the races were close, usually a car length to two car lengths in distance. Front-wheel drive in my opinion is a problem...or it was for me. Those tires spin like no other. I had toyo proxes and before that i had Eagle HP. You won't regret it.

well, on the FWD matter, your gonna have to give and take some. In other words, FWD will hurt traction when coming off the line, but when you make races from a roll, you will have the advantage as the drivetrain loss on a FWD is the least of the RWD and AWD cars.

I love my SL also, what kind of car are you used to driving? Everythign is relative, if your used to a 911 then your gonna hate the SL but if your used to a camry or volvo station wagon you'll be amazed, I do have a problem with getting off the line in just regular (abeit lead footed) driving, but it can be fun to squeal the tires a bit once in a while, even if jsut for show.
