Serpentine Belt replace chevy S10 2.8L

Heya everyone...my friend and I are going to change the serpentine belt in his S10 tonight after work. I know this is not the correct forum but you guys rock so I want to ask here first. His truck is a 1992 S10 2wd with the 2.8L engine. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Serpentine Belt replace chevy S10 2.8L

no problem. its pretty easy... there should be one adjuster that moves... its either spring loaded and you just put a ratchet on it and turn on way and slide the belt off..or its a bolt type one.. you loosin the pulley bolt and loosin the screw and the pully loosens...

Yeah it was a spring loaded one. Just put a ratchet on it and loosened it easily. Only took 15 mins was a piece of cake. Thanks again.
