Well..the weekend has opened up..and my tax return came back (thank god $$$$
) so its off to a model store to find a can of castrol superclean...apparently none of the AutoBarns have them in stock...so tomorrow im gonna try PepBoys....erggg
so far the Civic Type R was fixed (cant do anything bout the steering tho) and the Lancer Evo 6 is almost done (painted the side skirts and everything black) and and i just need to clean up the body with SuperClean and strip it down and get back to giving it a nice fresh coat...and then the decals and wha la..thats done finally(after i got the model in july of 2001). Then off to the R390....i just finished putting the cockpit together, and assembled the front steering....i dropped that little rubber piece that goes in between the brake disc and the steering hub.....i was on the cold concrete floor in my basement for a good two hours with a flashlight trying to find it (thank god i did). So far the turbos, the engine block, the pulley/belt assembly and the shocks are painted, and im gettting there slowly but surely....as soon as i can find a dam roll of 800 speed film...im takin all the pics i can....
Then after all this....I have my veilside 300zx kit and my Ae86 Midnight Racer to do...and my stock tamiya 300zx too...i think i buried myself in models...
