rough shifting on '02 MTNR w/ 4.6l
Does anyone have any info. regarding rough shifting on the newer Mountaineers w/ the 4.6l V8? Mine, w/ 56,000 miles, just started shifting hard and shutters at times. I just had the tranny flushed at the dealer - along w/ changing all other fluids inthe truck.

go to a dealer and have them run an oasis by vin - and trans upshift concern - you are probably one of the many that have a pcm reprogram available for this concern

shifting problem
whats up???
i had my 02 mountaineer v-8 transmission reprogrammed and now it shifts much nicer. dealer says its a common problem bryan
