Re: K&N Question

the top one is just a regular run of the mill air intake

but the bottom one is better because it is the fipk and probally will give u more preformance

Re: K&N Question

Not a whole lot...the FIPK is generally considered better, but the amount of hp it will give you over a regular k&n is minimal for the price, IMO.

"Fuel Injection Performance KIts (FIPK’s) contain a high air flow K&N filter with uniquely designed adapters. This creates a radius entry allowing the engine to ingest a greater volume of air compared to the factory intake system. "

So, chances are that the FIPK is a little higher flowing filter and adapter. If you have the money, go for the FIPK...if you are trying to do things inexpensively, just get the regular k&n or similar filter. Either is 10x better than stock

Re: K&N Question

if youre on a budget, the cheaper one would probably work almost just as good as the FIPK. Honestly, they both increase the intake radius like crazy, I still dont see too much of a difference except for the fancy FIPK name.
