why?

why do they stoll my 1990 honda 165 k miles on it and not the newer honda are they afraid to be arrested by the bigger chief.
men it happened when i park @ work and I installed the club ,alarm they probably taught THAT I'm equipt with JDM motor while its only 9.3mm wires makes my engine sounds good. an didnt steal my new 14 inch tires .the police found my car stripped front grill ,head lights ,bumper 2 side pannel and radiator, fans, jvc radio, some tools and seat covers.or a teen ager got in to an accidents and the father doesnt wana spent a dime.

damn that sucks, unfortunatly thats probably what happened, sometimes thieves want to steal a car just cause it looks like an easy target, they would probably stay away from a hooked up car, because they figure these have better security, which is not often true.i think the best security is a multilock, but you can never guarantee anything nowadays

that sucks man i wish this world was a perfect world with no crime. If some 1 ever stole my car i would have to find out who did it then talk to my good friend and the person who stole the car would not be able to walk any more!!

Re: why?

you want to hear some bullsh*t? I own a 93 accord w/ 97 accord 7 spoke wheels(only nice stuff on the outside) i had a nice sony xplod system on the inside. well i went to the movies last weekend and when i came out my car was gone. that was sat. the car was pulled over at 3am on sun. all stereo stuff gone. the kids were out joy riding. Yes, i said kids! Three 16 year olds were joyriding in my car. now ponder over this. This is the third time these kids have been pulled out of a stolen car in the past 7 months. WTF!!! anyone else see any type on problem with these kid still being on the street. also if anyone on here is in the east bay area of north california and you drive a early model accord stay away from Union Landing. about 1 accord every 2 or 3 days is stolen from that place for about the past month and a half.

Re: why?

just reading these posts makes me want to turn around and sell my 97 coupe. i just bought, literally yesterday. i'm gonna be putting a nice system in it, about $1500 worth of stuff. i don't want ANY punk, especially some young kind breakin in a jackin it. i live at the university i attend and usually go out at night so i don't get a good parkin spot that is very well lit. my question is, what kind of alarm would you all recomend, i think i want one with engine kill, but i don't know what other features. help me out.

Re: why?

can someone post up more informations on secutiry kits that kill the engine if alarms go off or anything else?? i own a 91 accord on 17s with a pioneer deck and i have alot of my favorite cds in the car

accords are so easy to break into...i locked myself out a few times and was able to unlockthe car with a coat hanger in less than a few minutes

does anyone know how easy it is to break the lock on the glove compartment_????????

Re: why?

yesterday i spent about 4 hours driving around talking to different people about car alarms. its funny how some people know what they are talking about and others are just flapping their gums. basically i reached the conclusion that most alarms come with an engine kill. it depends on if you want it to block the ignition when the window is busted, the car is bumped, the door is open, things like that.
you can also get alarms that have a proximity sensor so if something walks by your car within one foot it sets off a warning sound. stuff like that. of course there are the shock sensors and stuff.
as far as bustin the glove box open i was wondering the same thing. i went out to dinner last night and put my mp3 player in there and locked it. it seemed pretty easy to get into if someone wanted to.
