Does boosted VTEC work well?

Ive got an H23 and was thinking of puttin a h22 head on it, but I was also thinking of boosting my motor. It seems to me that the VTEC cams are too wide for a boosted application. Has anyone done a boosted VTEC and it turn out well?

Re: Does boosted VTEC work well?

their are a lot of people who boost their VTEC engines and trust me, it's better with VTEC
if i were u, i'd just go for an h22 swap then go FI
much cheaper than doing a frankenstein swap
ie: h23 block/h22 VTEC head
my .02 cents

Re: Does boosted VTEC work well?

i had an H22 boosted and it worked just fine. what kind of boost are you talkin about? from a turbo or supercharger? my guess would be turbo since there is no supercharger kit available for your car. i would actually suggest stickign with the H23 if you're gonna turbo your car. it responds better than the H22. just a thought, but you can boost an H22 just fine with the right work.
