Well, first off, your 3/4 view needs work. From the lines on the page, it appears that you tried the box method, correct? I do not recommend that process for extravegantly wavy designs. The reflections look nice, although a bit sketchy. I hope to see more from you in the future!

The profile is hot, hot, hot! I love it. Keep working on the 3/4 views but a fantastic start! Let's see more.

i love it. i really like your bold style. you are unrefined, but that is not at this point bad. keep drawing.

Hey, thanks for the crits. Would anyone be so kind to go into detail on what's wrong about my 3/4 view? I mean, I know what's wrong when I draw from reference and it then looks bad, but what should I look for when doing a 3/4 of something that's just in my head?

Edit: Now that I think about it:

1. The hood is widening in the wrong direction
2. The roof as well.
3. The windshield goes to far back.
4. The part between windshield and window on the right should be on a way more vertical angle

Am I right?

Re: First try doing my own stuff...

Hey Tier,
I did this earlier this week but never got a chance to post it. I quickly redrew your car's profile and 3/4 view. I hope this doesn't bother you but if it does I will, of course, remove it pronto!
But I wanted to show you a quick sketch of your 3/4 view and how your perspective should (kinda) follow thru. If you want I will layout the sequence I went through to get this 3/4 view. Hope ya like!

You just wanna make me feel bad.

Kidding

This is awesome. Since you reacted so positive on the profile, I thought about asking you to draw the 3/4. This actually helps me a lot to see where my mistakes are. Thanks.

I have one question: I know it took you long to draw this good (you said that somewhere else)... But could you give me a little overview of how you proceeded? Like, what are logical steps to improve? Should I draw lots and lots and lots of sketches with reference, so I can figure out how things look? Just draw from pictures of auto-shows? Or should I start as early as possible to do stuff from scratch? How long should I practice what? Please give me some little advice.
