Unhappy 96 Dodge Neon won't start

Hello,

I'm new here! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. My Neon won't start. It will however "Push start" but then die. Any suggestions if it's the starter? If so, Is there easy access to the starter?

Thanks for your help.

Listen Here playa first off all if it cranks, but does not start then its the battery, try recharging or have it tested, if thats no it, its the alternator so if the batt checks out ok change the alt it might just be that both of them wen out because of loose belts and if thats not it check the starter its located on near the top front of the passengers side of the trans. If thats not it dupm that shit and get a Nissan 240sx 97 and up or a ford probe gt
