93 lumina help needed - please!

Hi guys,
My wife is American and we live in the Uk (no expertise on her Lumina here!)
15 months ago we had same problem as now and had the fuel pump replaced. Problem Gone
It started again recently. After about 10 miles of driving it will stall out (only at low speed or stopped). It will restart but as soon as it goes in drive it stalls out again. If I continue to try and select drive it will eventually fail to start at all. If I leave it for 20 minutes or so it will then start and run for a mile or two. It is obviously temperature related and very similar to the fault last year. However, I find it hard to believe that the fuel pump has again failed (unless something else is killing fuel pumps on us). I have replaced the fuel pump relay and made no difference.
We would be glad of any suggestions on this problem before buying a new fuel pump.
Regards,
Rob Canavan
