Mah new car!

well, new to me. i am now the proud owner of my first drivable Mustang. it's an '89 GT auto. the body ain't so great, but that's not a big deal to me as it's just for fun.

the guy who had it before me didnt' have it for long. he put in a bunch of new stuff, like water pump, dist, plugs, wires, etc. runs like a dream, except for a little trouble idling. i asked him why and he said he didn't time it properly after adding the dist. from what i understand i just gotta take the spout out, set it at 10* BTDC with a light, shut it off, plug the spout in, and start it. that right or am i way off?

anyway it has no mufflers so it's loud as hell... might add some shorties, an xpipe, and maybe magnaflows. flowmasters would work too, but you all know what i think of them... might be time for a trip to mustangexhaust.com

it also has a 2.73 rear end... that's gonna change.

and if i feel like it, a t-5 swap.

so there. now i get to have some fun in a car for once!
