What should I set my shocks at for daily driving?

Ok, so I installed my Tokico Illuminas and im wondering what I should set them at for daily driving. I had them on 5 for two days and today I set them at 1. 1 being the softest and 5 being the hardest. I think I liked it better on 5. Is it ok for the shocks to be set so hard all the time?

Are your springs adjustable? You'd have more options that way. Why don't you try say 4 or 3 and see how you like it? Sorry, I can't say from experience with adjustable dampers, just springs...

mines set at 4 and i drive around 150~350 miles a day. dunno what springs you got but i got eibach.

My car doesnt bounce much either.....

I riding on skunk2 springs and dropped 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches. I've had mine set on 5, I really like how it rides. I set them on 1 yesterday and the car seemed to bouncy to me. I just try to avoid the pot holes.

Never heard of adjustable springs. Maybe you are talking about coilovers?

LOL I cant remember how low I made my car. All I know is im 3/4 of an inch below what california law says so. Also I cant put anything bigger than a 15 inch rim on my car or the tires will grind on the wheel wells...

When i get my rims back from the shop(sister curbed 2 of them T_T) ill post some pics.

Right now Im on some stock 13s and theres little room from the car to the wheel....maybe an inch

Driving every day on the stiffest setting is not good, causes premature wear. Also it's a good idea to drive the first 500 miles on the softest setting. With my AGX's I have the front's 1 click softer than rear(2/3). Anything you can do to stiffen rear suspension helps over come that nasty thing called understeer on a FWD car.

"Coilovers" are springs, right? and they're adjustable right? So WTF...

There are coil springs & leaf springs. Typically when some one says "coilover" they're referring to fully adjustable coilovers, but any spring mounted over a shock is a "coilover spring," like you find stock on your car. When the spring's mounted over the shock, it's called a strut.

No matter what u wanna do, just listen to jackasssi, lol. I would trust him 100% in this category...and if he says to put them on the softest setting for the first 500 miles, do it

Yeah I guess Im gonna do that now.

Jackassi, I did the washer trick and I got smaller ones then the dude used in that how-to, so I just used more of them. So my passanger side camber was worse than the driver so I added 3 to the passanger side and 2 on the driver side. But I still have negative camber on the driver side. What can I do to fix this? Also, ever since I lowered my car I've noticed a virbration coming from the right rear tire, which is also the side with the bad camber. What could be causing that? It only happens between like 15-30mph.

Hard to say without seeing it. If the difference is less than 1 degree I wouldn't worry about it. You could try adding 1 more washer to each bolt and/or check for bent suspension parts/worn bushings.
Vibrations can be a pain to pin down. It could be anything from a seperated tire to a bent frame. Did you have the front/rear toe set?

No i didnt get anything aligned yet. It didnt do it before when it was riding at stock height.
